Our second day in lab was a LOT of brainstorming. We really had not that much to go off on and needed to pinpoint the exact route we wanted to go.

A replica of our ice making machine that we drew on the whiteboard.

Through a lot of deliberation, we finally decided we will try to make ice using a peltier chip. This is a huge issue since a peltier chip creates more heat then it cools. The heat needs to be diverted away from the ice making area. We are not sure if it is feasible for Ghana's purpose, but we have our list of supplies down!

4 Peltier TEC

2 3'x3' Aluminum Plating

1 1'x1' Thick Aluminum Plating

16 Stainless Steel Bolts

16 Stainless Steel Nuts

Here are a few design drawings we created of the future system (we were thinking a little too far ahead):

See us in the next shop time finally putting our pieces together!
